Robin Bollada

Robin Bollada was born in The United Kingdom in 1985. He took an interest in the piano at an early age and soon began to play by ear.

In his late teens he moved to Berlin where he began to regularly perform solo piano and improvised music as a background musician in bars, restaurants and small venues.

As he progressed he became more involved with the Berlin Jazz/Jam Scene. “Playing in a supportive environment alongside other aspiring artists and professionals greatly enhanced my musical ability.”

Moving to Aachen in late 2013 Robin became involved with the local music scene. He enjoyed playing in local venues and festivals and combined this with part-time teaching. He still often returns to Aachen to teach.

Moving to Brussels in 2017 he decided to further develop his own musical education by embarking on a study programme in Jazz and Light Music at Luca Arts in Leuven. “Taking lessons and attending workshops with world class musicians during my time as a student was an immense privilege”.

As a teacher Robin enjoys sharing knowledge and continual learning “I am grateful for the opportunity of sharing a joy of music with many talented individuals who hail from diverse backgrounds and have a variety of musical interests.”
